“ Wonderful shop! Nice looking clean butchery with high quality meats, sausages, forcemeats, pates, etc. Everything looked great and the shop had a good vibe. There was a very helpful gentleman that explained what things were and answered my questions about their products. Unfortunately I dont remember his name but thats because my memory is horrible as Im getting older lol. The guanciale was amazing. I made carbonara with some for dinner. I already know the andouille is bomb. I had a customer bring me some once. I will be back. ”
“ I began a tradition of making them for my beloved Darla, my joyous and sweet Cairn Shih Tzu, many years ago. I dont eat meat so looking for marrow bones was always a hope that the grocery store might have some frozen kind of situation. So come Christmas Eve I cant find any and my heart plummets. My partner says from Pittsburgh, mind you What about that butcher on Belmont. I had never been but how grateful they exist! The place beams with pride and good service. So one phone call later they happen to be closing soon but would stay a bit if I could get there soon and I have two FRESH marrow bones a first , just for Darla. I keep this tradition alive because she will always be my baby though she passed over in 2021. Breaking down at the register with my bundle of emotions, Joshua comforted me and sympathized. And gifted me these two marrow bones for her on the house. I can speak to the quality of customer service and what are the best looking bones my baby ever had. If you need to keep traditions alive this is a place you can count on. Many many thanks. ”

“ I needed an appropriate Meet for a wild game chili cook off and Belmont Butchery came up when I googled wild game in Richmond. Henry and the gang took care of me, sawing a frozen two pound block of wild boar into quarters. I had never been there before and until I went to pick up my game, Upon arrival it looked like a lovely place to shop. It appears that they have just about anything you could be looking for and if they dont, they could probly get it. ”
